The amount of complaints that a consumer can have against various corporations throughout their lifetime is endless. Fortunately, there are other ways of dealing with corporations than just calling.
From personal experience I can attest that the Better Business Bureau has come through for my mom and myself. I tried contacting 24 Hour Fitness to get my monies back on a prepaid membership during the pandemic and 24 Hour Fitness ignored my requests by phone and would not let me speak to a supervisor. However, once I submitted my Better Business Bureau complaint I was able to get my monies back very quickly.
My mom purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy and had made two or three attempts at getting it installed but each time there were issues. After she made a Better Business Bureau complaint she heard from a different more competent department right away and the dishwasher issue was quickly installed after that. She even got to keep a dishwasher that was more expensive than the one she paid for.
My mom purchased FedEx insurance on a package that was packed by FedEx and still broke. She called and called FedEx and it was not working. Very soon after she made the Better Business Bureau complaint she heard from a better more competent department and she was issued her insurance check not too long after that.
Do not discount the Better Business Bureau! They can be of great help when all other avenues of redress have been exhausted.
